Made you look: fake art documentary- well done and left you with a lot to think about

the full monty- when i heard the premise I wanted to call social services but it was actually HILARIOUS so sweet and talked about serious topics like body insecurity, sexuality, depression, divorce, unemployment, and suicide in a very comfortable/almost realistic way? without it feeling forced in and unnatural. TOTALLY get it if someone didn’t agree that was just my take??❤️🧡💛💜

Goodfellas: no comment. best movie. 💚🖤

Romy and michelle’s high school reunion: Beautiful. (weird, random, comedy flick but i liked it) 🧡💛🤍

The holdovers-this nice and well done! not too much to say.❤️💛💚💙

Night on earth- LOVE these simple vignettes with humor and heart❤️💛💚

Can’t buy me love- wasn’t fully happy with it but entertaining enough. 🧡

FIND TITLE olivia colman anonymous hate mail one- Fun and light with good actors and a great premise💛

Triplets of Belleville- sooo weird. I got something out of it but would not reccomend it to everyone💚🤍

Man on Wire- GREAT documentary ahhhh 💛💚💙💜

The Royal Tenenbaums- just classic wes anderson with a great soundtrack also some probably unnecessary incest and sh 💛💚💜🖤🤍

Wings of Desire-sad, long, beautiful, artsy❤️💚💙

Anatomy of a Fall- SO WELL DONE sad and poignant and fresh and french and kept me on my toes ❤️💚💙🖤

the unbearable weight of massive talent- ridiculous comedy u gotta know about nic cage first probably, give it a chance it gets sillier and there’s pedro pascal which makes me happy🧡💛

Love and Death- funny but niche, if you like russian literature or woody allen that’s the only time i’ll reccomend💛💜🤍

Aftersun- wow. No typical “plot” but I loved it and was captured by the beauty and realistic representation of how memory works❤️💚💙

I was very busy and forgot about all the requests, and now I was able to write a small piece of text about Billy and John. I hope you like it!

Billy looks at John's back. This is in horrific scars, which makes the girl's blood run cold. Billy had seen other people's scars before, and she clearly understands that they are already very many years old. They also look terribly like Joseph's scars.

It occurs to Billy that these scars are one of the main differences between the brothers. Joseph goes shirtless so often, showing the tests he has passed to the world that it is easy to remember these marks. He says that all the pain we feel has made us stronger. And this pain did not break Joseph - he is still capable of love.

But John's scars are different. All that other people are allowed to see in John Seed is the perfect face, artsy tattoos and ostentatious gloom on the chest, which he carved out solely for Joseph. The scars that his father awarded him are not allowed to be seen by everyone. Even though John is ready to talk about what trials he had to go through in his life, he will never say that it broke him. This made him a sadist and psychopath, unable to show deep affection. He will erect his pain on a pompous pedestal, but behind the scenes there will be emptiness. And that's all of John.

Billy looks up and stares into the man's blue eyes. He carefully observes her through the mirror and seems to understand perfectly well what kind of thoughts are rummaging through her head. He smiles. From this smile, as always, not an ounce of warmth.

“Do you like my scars?”

“No,” Billy says calmly and turns away. “There is nothing in them that I might like.”

John chuckles.

“Who would have thought that you are so squeamish.”

They both understand that this is not a matter of disgust. But John will not tell the truth, because he wants to draw out a confession of regret from her, and Billy will remain silent because he does not want to play along with him.

And they know about it too. And that's the only way they keep their delicate balance.
